She was a straight thug
Punk rock girl with dark brown hair
Tattoo on her neck
Standing proud against her soft brown skin
And you knew she'd fight you
But she had nothing but kisses for me
And so we dated...
Till I woke up to her nodding out on me

He always had a place in his day to talk to me
Until he didn't
And would disappear for a few weeks
And when he'd come back, that same tough mug, looking sickly
Sadness in his eyes
Something he could not explain to me
