Graveside History
Disrupted the earth, shoveled the dirt
Had to look had to see, had to dig to the depth i buried me
Pried open the coffin, and there I was laughing, crying, whining
Stuck inside that cold blue misery
And I was stupid enough to think I was history, history
Speaking the truth, trying to glue, every lie, all the pain, to the saner part of me
It was no use trying, I wasn't who I am now, couldn't even find out how
Stuck inside that cold misery, Now I'm smart enough to know I was history
Learning my graveside history
