The Haunted Palace

A radiant palace
Where angels exist
Lies deep in the valleys
Of thoughts it consists

What floating and flying
The heavens did flow
And all the thoughts were dying
A long time ago

But the times have changed

In the end all is gone
Of the king’s golden glory
What is left is a dream
And an unknown old story
All the angels cry
But the tears won’t dry
They all laugh – but smile no more

If wanderers attended
They once could have seen
Majestic and splendid:
Thе king and his queen

The angels’ sweet voices
Could hеavenly sing
At them he rejoices
Their glorious king

But the times have changed

But evil ghosts and demons
Assailed the palace over and over again
