He wandered on through empty fields, with everyone to think of but himself
He didn’t know what’s been, he couldn’t even scream
And shrugging he said what am I do to?
Well it was getting dark, the day had died
But up above the falling stars awoke
While lost in time and space he turned and saw this face
And silence it just took his breath away

Because I need it so much I always seem to fall apart
And no one knows just why
And if you see me standing there I hope that you will take me where
I really want to go

Well he stood in awe at what he’d seen
The girl she didn’t have to say a word
She led him by her smile and walked with him for miles
And then turned and said listen to your heart
But he was lost in thoughts he couldn’t talk
And he didn’t know just why she had appeared
And suddenly he knew just what he had to do
And the girl well she vanished in the air
