Walking down an empty street
I hear a distant birdsong
It's been a while
Since they sung around here
Looking back on days gone by
When we would say
Oh how time flies
But now each day is barely moving
So what is this
Was it something
To remind us we are one in
This place that we have come to call our home
We don't get another chance
No second take, no one last dance
So where do we go from this time
The only time
Now we have time to think
Driving on a quiet road
The news is on the radio
But we're just laughing in the sun
So we don't notice
Still all the phone calls don't come close
To seeing those I miss the most
And I can't wait to see them soon
But I'll keep waiting
So what is this
