Lost in the Oaks Heart

He lost his heart to a woman
He could not resist
His mind was overflown with hatred
He drowned his sorrows in murky waters
And tried to escape his darkest secrets
Now he is trapped in this never-ending forest
Of loneliness and despair
His guilt follows him everywhere
It was a misty night in late fall
When she walked through the woods
As he was following her around
He thought of a way to make her his
And so he grabbed his knife
And slit her fucking throat
As the life drained from her eyes
He fantasized of a life
Where they could be together
In life, in death and forever
He lost his soul to the devil
He could not resist
His mind got lost in the forest
He drowned in his sorrows
And the forest consumed him alive
The ancient oaks cursed him forevermore
In loneliness and despair
He shall remain forever
