Inside The Room
Bryden Summers
I've heard enough of this story to know a thing or two
For one, that cigarette you hold ain't stirring up the truth
I can't believe what I'm hearing or what you have to say
I know you don't mean to frighten, It just comes out that way
The room was getting toxic, I knew I had to breathe
I stepped out for some air then I was coughing in the street
I said, hey man, you better get away from me 'cause I am going down
And then he reached out his hand and said, he knew I'd come around
Now the walls were closed in tightly, I was locked up in my chair
Staring in from the other side, he said, you ain't going anywhere
I'm looking for something that you might help me find
I thank you for your cooperation, I thank you for your time
