The Legend
I. Crimson Dawn
[Instrumental]
II. Nations Divided
Pendragon is dead, and Merlin can see
That all over England, armies are marching
Ready for war, they stand by their kings
But one man must rise up, a King for all England
Rise up! Strike out!
Anvil and stone, and many have tried
To draw out the sword, from where it is waiting
For England's true King, to prove he's the one
That has in his power, a nation united
Nations divided, nations divided
Many kings are standing, they tried but they have failed
There is but one can vanquish, the legends tells thе tale
Merlin is waiting, Arthur stands alone
Thеy all watch a boy, pull the sword from the stone
Nations divided, nations divided
Nations divided, soon to be decided!
III. Camelot
In the hills and valleys, over blood-red plains
Arthur's peace rules all the land
He never stopped to wonder, how this came to be
His guidance came from came from Merlin's hand
The boat cuts through the Mists of Avalon
The sword will never return to Avalon
Lancelot and the knights roam free
A quest to bring the Grail to Avalon
Guinevere his prize to gaze upon
Camelot - I hope you see
Camelot - It's good to me
Camelot - home of the free
Camelot - It's the place to be
Seated round the table, a dream foretold in time
Merlin knows it cannot last
Masked by Arthur's sadness, by a friend betrayed
It all began in Arthur's past
Those castle walls will keep you safe
You just don't wat to live there
The threat will come from Arthur's son
IV. Stryngs

V. Arthur - the Once and Future King
Morgaine's only son, from Arthur's younger days
Wanted Arthur's throne, and to make his father pay
Mordred traveller far, just to lay the gauntlet down
A battle was his one desire, to seize his father's crown
Arthur's dreams, foretold the schemes, and caused him pain
Gawain said, Lord, don't draw the sword, or you will be slain
Arthur send his champions, to bargain with his son
He knew that is was hopeless, but tried to buy some time
The offered Mordred Cornwall, he would take it all
The news came back to Arthur, that the battle had begun
The battle raged, fore one whole day, the battlefield was red
And Arthur cursed, his own son, but not a word was said
Mordred and Arthur, stood and faced each other
The knew that it was time for vengeance to please
Mordred was too slow, Arthur struck the first blow
Mordred felt the spear - pass though him with ease
Spurred on by pain and anger, Mordred's sword was raised up
And cut Arthur down, with a blow to the head
With no fight in them, fell to the ground together
Arthur sorely wounded, but Mordred was dead
The sword was thrown toward the lake, the lady claimed that prize
The King lay down, and closed his eyes, at peace, king Arthur died
Arthur - the once and future King!
