Carousel
Take a seat and fasten the belt, be afraid of the ride, it’s your personal hell,
Welcome aboard, this journey will soak you in
The cruelest dream, so just give in
Life has taken its toll on me, it’s spinning beyond liberty,
Like a horrorcoaster its catching my fear, trap me in, force my past to appear
My hands are shackled by its powerful will, it spins faster and faster, I freeze from the chill,
Dizzy and drunk my head is swimming, my feet are trembling, there’s clearly no winning.
I want to get off and out of this thrill,
The rustling gets louder, far over the hill
You hear the squeaking of the old wheels,
The wrenches are tight, but still you feel them squeal
All your secrets, nowhere to hide
This funpark reveals all your heinous crimes
The wind whispers into my ears,
Confronts me with its battering tears
Twists the wisps of my broken hair
I gasp for air in all my despair
It’s about to stop but I already jumped, I eased the leashes
And managed to run
Its structure breaks down, the pictures are crumbling
It fades away, I’m tumbling down on my knees.
