Ocean Blue
There's no place I'd rather be than
Lingering in the ocean blue
(Whenever I see the creatures swim
I feel completely on a whim)
Lie down and feel the cool breeze,
There's nothing else I want to do
(But everything changed, now they are gone
My home's not fine, not fine at all)
I remember when I put my feet on the sand,
The happiness I feel's too much to stand
Now everything I see is sludge and trash
and ships hunting with their trawls, well
Gotta wake and rise up!
The shore needs just a little cleanup,
Gotta take a step up!
Bring back everything I used to see, now,
Come on to the beach, let's take back the scene
Heads up!
If you feel like the clock of ticking time's up
You should keep your hopes up!
Gotta save the ocean, gotta save the seas,
Hand in hand together as a team.
Still no place I'd rather be,
Than what I called the ocean blue
(Whenever I see the creatures swim
I feel completely on a whim)
I gaze upon the calming green,
It used to be a pleasing view.
(But everything changed, now they are gone,
My home's not fine, not fine at all)
I remember when I put my feet on the sand,
The happiness I feel's too much to stand,
Now everything I see is sludge and trash
And ships hunting with their trawls, well
Gotta wake and rise up!
The shore needs just a little cleanup,
Gotta take a step up!
Bring back everything I used to see, now
Come on to the beach, let's take back the scene
Heads up!
If you feel like the clock of ticking time's up,
You should keep your hopes up!
gotta save the ocean, gotta save the seas,
Hand in hand together as a team.
You and me, feelin' alright at the ocean.
Cover me from the sunlight with the lotion,
Everybody, everywhere, make a commotion.
Move the plan along like locomotion.
Pick up all o' the junk and trash,
And pick it up quick like a hundred-yard dash.
Don't give up, we've got enough time.
Now get down with the windchime.
