I'm Disappointed

Bored and lonely in the small hours
Layin' in my bed all alone
Flippin' channels on the TV
No one to hold but my phone

Stare up at the ceiling
Watching as the fan spins around
Uninspired in my underwear
If I'd could fly to the stars I'd never come down

Sick and tired of being sick and tired
I'm getting fatter everyday
I wanna get up and run in a race
The couch begs me to stay

Know I should be getting down on my face
And do some push-up's on the floor
But there's still a couple chips in the bag
And in the cupboard there's more

Got up and headed down to NASA
Thought that I would make a good recruit
But my math skills are subpar
And I'm too fat for a spacesuit

Sent my resumé to Space X
Hoping I'll be hearing from them soon
Maybe I can hitch a ride up to Mars
But I'd settle for the Moon
