Wise Men Of Old
There's a story about the tellers of our fortunes from the past.
Good stories of good living but it wasn't theirs to last.
No need for a little white stick to guard our desperate way
Just listen to those tellers of the future in our way
Now the time has come for one and all to look out where we are
The pastel in the blue sky's so near and yet so far.
We must listen to our fathers we must look out for our son
We can't talk about the good times, for we know what we have done.
Are we here to last hungry souls we must fast
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
The teacher tells his boys to believe in what they see
that there seems to be no-one out there, why this pain and misery.
A little boy, he asked his master, if his own brain he could see
The answer came was sadly no and what a point he proved to thy.
Are we here to last hungry souls we must fast
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
Now the time has come for one and all to look out where we are
The pastel in the blue sky's so near and yet so far.
We must listen to our fathers we must look out for our son
We can't talk about the good times, for we know what we have done.
Are we here to last hungry souls we must fast
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
Do we know the truth, do we know that we are blind
Do we hope to find, as we lead each other from behind.
Say the truth what we see, we believe in those wise men of old
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
Do we say it's all fine are we just another space in time
Say the truth what we see, we believe in those wise men of old
