Gutterfly
Demia / Yoav Zouker
Tell me how you died my dear
when you ensured compliance
how the walls came down
tell me how you carved the will
to endure defiance
how its all changed now
tell me how you
died inside my cliche gutterfly
she said
'I am sort a of a mystery'
I exclaimed well 'so am I'
sequences of secrets seeking shelter
in between the signs
and in these instants
of repetitive words that just remain relative
even the poet resigns
'can't think of the lines'
so to me you died
inside my cliche gutterfly
suddenly edify
don't forget the present tense
you are only in a sense
know the hearts blind arrogance
there's a lesson here
don't you know?
cause to me you
died inside my cliche gutterfly
