I smile on the outside but I know it's just crutch

My spirit can't handle it the air is too thin
I can't seem to out run my demons

This war is everlasting, so entrapping
Can I choose between the two paths
I need guidance
Tired of living a life of self-destruction
Living in a world that has nothing to offer

I raise my hands and surrender to you
Because this course you've laid out is the only real truth

The time is now
This wisdom I have gained from a weakened mind
A broken body, a darkened soul
I made my decision

My God I choose you
You strengthened my mind
Purified my soul
Healed my body and saved my life
