That sweet aroma through the breeze
Story time she'd fall asleep
That bright smile made me weak
She left a mark to say the least

Focus on Your peace

It's been 5 months since we met face to face
If I'm being honest
Yeah a lot things I would've changed
I wasn't perfect far from it
I meant what I said that wasn't fake
However, I've learned a lot
Saw the signs right in my face but I didn't listen

We've both had trauma
Which made it worse cause I been through I understand it
All I wanted was to help you not feel abandoned
But it went much deeper I had insecurities I didn't manage
That I could be someone for you that I didn't have
But that someone could never be me
Or another man
But the Savior
Who loves you and knows you to your core
And brings healing from hurtful things that you've endured
And not just you but also those who have been ignored
Can find a love that gave His life for them to be reborn
I get it, what trust you had has been extinguished
But I promise that true healing is found in Jesus
