A Cosmological Arch

Like a strange citizen
Foreshadowing the edge of the world
From an outer dimension
An aerial dust meant to be denied

Apart from the daily communion
That gathered to establish a principle of compassion
Surrounded by choirs of blessed corpses, I wait

Like the broken arcs of a crystal tesseract

Fading into a fourth perspective
An arch of cosmological vanity
Between the thornless gears of this godless clockwork
Monumental projection

Unconscious machinists on a spherical journey, we are

Scattering the fixed stars
In prospect of the ecstatic zenith of the deniers' secret
That has always been to come, I wait

Pushed away beside those hidden cells

With hearts as cold as a stone pedestal
