Night outside my window seat
Ashen face stares back at me
Ragged heartbeat mixed with bile
Locked in helpless single file

Holding tight for all I'm worth
The hand that pushes to the earth
Faltering we drop like rain
Anguish cries around the plane

This isn't ending well

Engines dissonant refrain
Ashen faces feel your pain
Tighten seat belt grab the mask
Final prayers along the flight path

Life before my eyes
Keep on breathing ashen face
