No Kings
Hafid Granados
In this cold dark world of trials and tribulations
I see lost and gloomy faces as I wait at the crossroads of train stations
I wonder where I’ll go as I’ve lost touch with life’s fleeting sensations
Everyday is a test of my patience
I’m feeling unrest and in need of aid like a hospital patient, but I look to the future as my downfall is readily adjacent
To earn this kingdom I had to battle through waves of struggle and pain
Fighting tooth and nail I deserve the spoils of war
Understand the clash of light and dark still lives at my core
As dead bodies and riches lay along the bloody marble floors
Being a noble king is hypocrisy
I had to do bad to get to the good and now I’m stuck with this
