Promises

But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high

If you walk with me, I will be your shield
If you keep my ways, all foes will kneel
If you put your hope in me, wait or go to sleep
Though the darkness may persist, [just know] at the dawn we'll meet

For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord
If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, 4 then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruits
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love
