WWJD
I bought one of those bracelets that say "WWJD," as in, "What Would Jesus Do?"
And I decided it stood for "What Would Jens Do?"
And whenever I was in tough I thought, "What would Jens do?"
And then I did the opposite of that
What would Jens do?
They say if you play a country song backwards
All your sorrows are reversed and your luck returns
You find the job, your dog comes back
The kid you love starts calling you "dad"
And you break your curse
And since my life turned into a country song
It's time to ask myself, when things went wrong
"What would Jens do?" and then do the opposite of that
What would Jens do?
Let's rewind the tape
Every mistake you've made
Every tear rolling down your face
Every tear rolling down your face
Is the lesson learned, the good old friend who taps you on the shoulder and says, "Don't do that again!"
What would Jens do?
Well, that's what we're not gonna do
I bought one of those bracelets that say "WWJD," as in, "What Would Jesus Do?"
And I decided it stood for "What Would Jens Do?"
And whenever I was in tough I thought, "What would Jens do?"
What would Jens do?
