Man them firecrackers in my suitcase
about set the whole damn motel ablaze
O'course a motel's as good a place as any to let your demons fly
Then on the morning after, amidst the blessing of silence
I heard the policeman say it was a miracle I was alive

Well this I can't say, cause I don't know, though I'm fond of such foolish conjecture
