EXHAUSTION
Kick your feet, you pick up dust
You can’t move, you can’t trust
You’re doomed to watch your dreams fade
Destroy your bodies in wars for inner peace
It’s so hard to keep the demons at bay
You can’t keep track of the things that you’re doing
You can’t remember things that you say
And time moves in such unusual ways
You absorb all communication
But refuse to respond
Your desires might be an illusion
Your attention strays all the time
Undermine your will out of habit
For stimulation from parasites
Exhaustion sets in
Estranged by the speed of life
In a first world built by slaves
Overdeveloped and empty
Your thin skin always breaks
