Bad Dream

Last night I awoke with a troubling song, hovering over my head
You were asleep lying next to me dear
You knew not that I was there
Who do you throw when you’re out there all alone out?
Looking around at the worst
How do you know if she’s really there?

Reaching up above your hand and touch your own
The object of the dream, has been gone
And you’re not alone, anymore

Michael was a mountain, as he came to be known there
Pushed between two stones, it was there that he began to grow
Time to move on son
And Michael moved on till he fell on his glasses

Went for a walk down the wandering path
To a meadow away from the road
Picked up a crystal and looked inside
To find myself dividing in fractals of one

Reaching up above your hand and touch your own
The object of the dream, has been gone
