Face to Face with the Night

You know you never can out-race
All the mistakes that you've left scattered

The worst mistake I ever made

And cover up my alibis

To try to lose myself in small talk

Try to hide out in the crowd
While that old jukebox keeps on moaning
But it don't matter just how loud
It can't drown out every sound
Mistakes down in my mind
Confessions that I've been postponing
