Got this feeling down in my gut
Guilty that I really messed up
But as I'm reeling, in the thought of what
I might have said or done
I'm only deepening the cut
And it's so warm, matter of fact
It tickles deep down to the core
And I know much better than that
But the truth is I want so much more
I'm doing okay, the best I can
Things could be much worse
