Or turn off my brain
I’m so wide awake

But I didn’t
I can’t rest with this business

It’s everything all at once
Screaming my name
To go one of two ways
But I’m indecisive and afraid
So I wait for the answers
Patiently
I should probably get some rest
Before the morning ruins my day
But in the blue light
I stay up all night
A coin into a well
My own padded cell
To which I hold the key
