Four Tired Paws Marking the Desert
Four tired paws marking the desert
Maw dripping with blood
Coyote is feeling sand
Staring at the piercing moon
Feeling the old eternal strength
But doom blinded the sky
Do or die?
Is it worth turning back?
Overpowered by the sandstorm
Tasting every grain
Blue flames have no end
Blue eyes are turning grey
Coyote's got no rage to breath
Howling to a faceless friend
Limping on the dunes
Fear is late
And the man
Sighed
His whole soul
She flinched
She lost
The warmth from the womb
The end came from deep within
Reached the eyes that opened wide
And the coyote ran
An unloved kid wonders in the playground
While the whale finds rest on the beach
The walls and the sky are closing
And all eyes have no truth to tell
I hear everything
I'll cry along everyone
