A Rope Around My Neck
There's a rope around my neck, it's tight and it's taut,
I feel the pressure on my throat, and it's all that I've got,
I'm hanging on by a thread, trying to catch my breath,
But this rope around my neck is leading me to my death.
It's taking me to places that I never wanted to go,
I'm suffocating, I'm struggling, I'm fighting for air,
But this rope around my neck won't let me out of its snare.
I pray for my death there is no hope.
I'm trying to break free, I'm trying to escape,
But this rope around my neck is causing me pain,
It's pulling me down, it's dragging me low,
And I don't know how much longer I can go.
I don't want to give up,
I don't want to let go,
My Death Approaches quick
and there is no hope
But the rope around my neck refuses to let go
it's a symbol of my pain,
a reminder of the struggles I had faced every day
I'm suffocating, I'm struggling, I'm fighting for air,
But It won't let me out of its snare.
This Rope around my neck It is my very end.
There's a rope around my neck, it's tight and it's taut,
I feel the pressure on my throat, and it's all that I've got,
I'm hanging on by a thread, trying to catch my breath,
But this rope around my neck is leading me to my death.
