Birds of sorrow fly over my head
But I won't let them nest in my bed

I can't help but wonder in my insecurities
It's a challenge everyday sometimes, takes some maturity
And what I'm worried about, what's preying on my mind
These petty competitions, bring me down time to time

Just like you can't tell, if what a heart is feelin' is fair
You can't avoid the people who don't wish you well
Just know it ain't about you, it's their own emotional cell
