I used to write love songs but not anymore
The rhymes and the reasons paper on the floor
And all of those pages that i've tried to turn
Cast shadows on my wall as they burn

So cold the flames of yesteryear

I used to take pictures and put them in a book
So if i got lonely i'd only need to take one look
