Gluttony
Fat was the ass that was sitting on the seat
Wide was the mouth as it prepared
Wet were the lips in anticipation
For the latest thing desire had ensnared
'Take this good' said the mouth to the stomach
'Swallow it and make yourself a friend'
'Chew it real good' said the stomach to the mouth
'Make sure it ain't a live one that you send'
In Vietnam the children fled quickly from napalm
'Cause napalm took your skin, then your breath
Hiroshima, the aged, they limped and they hobbled
To an almost deliberate death
After the starter, the mains and the remains
Well beyond good reason and good taste
Just as dessert settled down for the night
They learned that they were dining with the eighth
Loud was the choke as the stomach revolted
Thick was the fat that it repelled
Sick was the body that was bent over double
Greed was the poison that it held
The eighth wasn't like that, both subtle and sly
Working like a maggot to the brain
A question that clouded the bluest of skies
A doubt that could drive you insane
