Short on Hours

Let’s build a life among the trees where we sing with birds and bees
Let’s fill this world with the kindest souls till we grow all rugged and we’re old
Can we start this house alone, and have some children of our own
Build a cabin along the rusty Prescott roads
We can’t be quiet till we are toooo old

-Because life’s too short to be bruised and sour you must live life like you only have an hour
There’s too much to say when your stuck on a day so flow to tomorrow cuz we’re runnin short on hours

Let’s build a life with family and we’ll see what the season brings
We’ll share the downstairs with the dogs, Let the boys play with hogs and the girls in flowers
Build a porch string and a creek while we hear those crickets squeak in midnight hours
Share a bedroom under stars while we crash on down like the shooting stars in may
