Long time ago when Kris was just a lad
He came down with a sickness that was awfully bad
His began to lose weight like he had never done before
It wouldn't be so sad, but he was only four
The doctor told his mom that she needed to keep him feed
With soups and meats and all kinds of bread
So, with a constant cadence more than most men
She feed her young son from morning to ten
O'clock that is right into the night
He kept on eating every single bite
Now his weight Stay'd the same
And he felt perfectly fine
But he had to eat about sixteen times
Until one day when his mom gave him milk
Not two percent or almond or the one made of silk
But the homogenized and pasteurized natural/Whole milk
It didn't make a difference until he finally ate
A cookie with the milk and it tasted great
And the amazing thing he started to gain weight
So, on a regular basis every once in a while
When he was feeling thinner and wanted to smile
He would ask his mom to make him a stack
So many cookies it's hard to keep track

There are Peanut butter, Gingersnaps, Biscotti and more
Snowball, Molasses, Crinkle for sure
Lofthouse, Meringue, Icebox to name a few
Black & White, Sugar and shortbread too
Oatmeal, Macadamia, Italian lemon drop
Thumbprint, Wafer, Pizzelle, Mandelbrot
Now country by country the cookies piled in
There was Pinwheel, Red velvet and Engelsaugen
Yo Yo, Anzac, Butter and applejack
And in 1912 Oreo's came in a pack
There were big ones, and small ones with all types of flavors
Especially chocolate chip which he would just savor
The taste in his mouth as it would go down
With the sweet glass of milk, pound after pound
His weight would go up to a reasonable rate
And his time with his mom was especially great
