Tonight's not a pretty sunset
It might be a while unfortunately
The way the colours mix together
I guess isn’t the same if I'm not there to see it
I've been wary but I’m alright
Don't you worry about me
I knew this would be a bridge we'd cross
It soon won't be before long
We've got more of them

I'd be lying if I didn't see it coming
Moments like this mean more in the future
It's not clear as day
But hindsight is a jagged edge
And the turquoise fell from the sky
And I’ll use it to get back to where we were
And maybe then the sun will have more space to breathe
And the colours might mix the way they should
