Beating faster in its torment
I can feel a burning love
I can feel its flames devour me
I can feel an endless loss
Fading to black again
In self-deception
Delusions and deceit
Without direction
So lost, so aimlessly
And all I ever held on to
Just slipped right through my hands
And all the times I reached out to you
You just turned and walked away
Left me all deranged
