Paper flowers tattoo the walls
And cotton sheets piled two by two
Softness where the dreamer storms
Leaves no pressure upon you
Different hearts permit his dreams
Strangers waking, talking strange
Bite my tongue and pull them in
And then the pretty flowers change
I take forgetfulness

Trust these cards and watch me talk
Million people come and go
Success and failure feed my heart
And everything is fine below
Sundial marks the island time
And all the dust it makes you swoon
