Evil is a symptom
Of the lies we feed to our children

All those wounds that won't be forgotten

No time to read or whatever
Eliminate all the thinkers
Knowledge is held by the sinners

You still make sure to take a stand
Nobody knows you just pretend
Meaningless words to make amends
No angel, no villain
No evil and no saint
The soul is ill when
The heart loves in vain
You want to burn the witches
Eat the rich to keep all their riches
Trying to glorify your crutches
Vanity spoils all that it touches
And it's not the truth you seek
And it's not to help the meek
When the treasure's obsolete
It's a pattern you repeat
