Words in Vain

What a gift to be extra loquacious
So outspokenly things to portray
My...I better jump in, through myself into
This continuous rant, if I may

I'll explain, but I’ll deceive
Words in vain strung carelessly
Like a chain of paper and paste
That can't support it's own weight
I’ll talk on until I'm blue
Words are gone, the sermon's through
Now it's dawn, I'm all broke down in the empty sound

Keen are swords, stern's the warpath of rhetoric
But is there really much needed to say
End of tale, weapons down, no one's listening
