Baneful Storm

We came in this world to remain in our filth
Feeding ourselves with decaying concepts
I cannot pretend to another life
But can I feel
There is something to be done
Why should I keep my eyes shut?
A thrill runs through the spine

This baneful storm is spreading its ills
Like a poisonous dance, swallowing us

We stand on the earth, stuck in our own dirt
Almost as stuck in time as our ideas
Ignoring what's beyond our shell
Our brains are burnt
And fucked only by conceit
How can I break this
Intangible, ethereal fortress?
I'll get over it

My whole body is

Thrusting
The borders of shame

The unsubstantial demon
