Flooded

The sharpest alarm
I rise with the sun
And rays like a blade
I'm awake

And all are about
With leashes and leads
And purposeful strides
The bright light putting tears in my eyes

I'm up
Too much to take in
Flooded
But i won't sink

We drift into dance
I pass you by chance
It's almost too much
My long-lost half i'm quite overcome

I mapped out our lives
