When I was low and needed help God took my burden
When I despaired and looked to Him He took my hand
And through the corridors of fear He led me safely
Then suddenly I knew that I'd been born again

When I was down and deep in pain He sent an Angel
When I had almost given up He made me see
And just in time He pushed me through my darkest hour
And gave me voice to sing aloud the victory

Just in time I found the way to sweet contentment
Tranquility completely fills my troubled mind
And not too late I found the way to joy unending
My Lord reached down to hand me mercy just in time
