Took a bottle to the face in the car park after dark
Bacchic frenzy threatening a ritualistic spark
Students stumbling through the streets in hedonistic haze
With pills and paranoia and high suicidal rates

Dionysus would be proud of all the bodies lying passed out on the ground

A pagan congregation doing worship in the pubs
Children raised on Jesus selling coke in burnt out clubs
Searching for the hazy glare of lights that shine bright red
A haunted wild-eyed madness and a bed that's drenched with sweat
