Now this is the beginning of a long long story

And situations to tell

You have been away on a trip

In Vienna you see a cruise boat
And a group of little old ladies
Lining up loading up
About to take a trip

Down the green river of dreams
Now this is the beginning of a long story
We all need taht panacea
So you wake up one morning

You go downstairs
Out into the street
You pass by something you've passed
By 1000 times before

But this time you really see this thing
As if for the first time
As if you'd recieved a new set of eyes the night before

As if the endless rain
Had whased away the veener
Had washed away the trasparent shield
Has washed away the cataracts from your eyes

We all need that panacea
At every border
A war lies simmering in wait
