The God Within

The only way to find out whether God's love is real
Is wait until the day you die and the great ordeal
The counterpart of heaven's what most people call hell
They might as well just call it earth
'Cause we're not doing so well

The present wars we fight are caused by ignorance
The wars we lost in the past make no difference
The future ones fought by our kids will cause our fall
'Cause president say that
God's will justifies all

The bottomline of all religion
Is wellfare of your mental state
It's not trying to create opposition
So embrace the God within, before it's too late

Alliences have shifted through the interbellum
Christianity and jew are now each others groom
This so called war on terror and the axis of evil
Reminds me of the crusades in the days
that we've have called the medieval

The God within me roars upon all the information
But still I treat believers without reservation
I try to show them what the God within is all about
They only way to reach this goal
Is to step out of the crowd

I don't care no more about religion
It's driving me insane
All it creates is opposition
I won't embrace the God within, for I fear its reign

The fanatics who read their stories
Over and over and over again
Have missed the most important lesson
there was to be learned
Love your neighbour like your brother
Love your neighbour like your mother
Love your neighbour like your father
Screams the God within that wants to be heard
