Scars

I grew acustomed to this game of life
Dont know if im going far
Bear witness to to my past, with all these battles and the scars
I wear em proudly on my shoulders, lifes punches they hitting hard
But then turned my pain into power
Let my spirit disregard
My little brother once told me, that he putting up a facade
Feel like you got nowhere to go, while you suffer in them drawers
I told em, one day you gon make it out, and prove to them you hard
But patience is a virtue, you just got to put trust in god
