Now That You're Here
I saw her face
I saw her eyes were frozen in gaze
She'd been lost for so long
"Have you come to set right this wrong ?"
I wept in shame
For the things I saw had no name
And when I turned to go, she held me close
And whispered so low:
"Now that you're here, I'll have no fear
I can't take anymore
When you hear the sound of sirens calling The walls around you falling
Then you'll know just what I mean!
When they all line up so the can take you
Day and night they come to break you
Then you'll know just what I mean!
But now that you're here I'll shed no tear
Though I want you to know
I've missed you "
I cursed the world
It was them who gave me this role
I could watch, but not act
I felt like an accessory after the fact
And I wept in shame
I saw hell all over again
And when I turned to go, she held me close
And whispered so low:
"Now that you're here ..."
