Elephants and Termites

Daniel Miller, Robert Sharenow, William Shatner

Elephants and termites
One giant, one so small
When elephants get itchy butts
They squirm and jump and twitch
It's not like they can use their trunks
To scratch a nasty itch
But luckily their tiny friends
The termites are around
They build up piles of mud and dirt
Into massive twelve-foot mounds
The elephants will rub themselves
For however long it takes
To make the itches go away
But cause the mounds to break
Elephants and termites
One giant, one so small
Termites and Elephants
The wonder of it all
The wonder of it all
Now once the mound collapses
The ground beneath it sinks
And fills with water deep enough
To have a bath or drink
Animals then gather
Under the blazing sun
At mother nature's water park
To take part of the fun
Even birds they visit
And sometimes from their wings
Fish eggs drop into the pool
Creating fishy things
Elephants and termites
One giant, one so small
Termites and Elephants
The wonder of it all
The wonder of it all
A wonderous oasis
So beautiful and rich
It's almost unbelievable
It started with an itch
Elephants and termites
One giant, one so small
Termites and Elephants
The wonder of it all
The wonder of it all
The wonder of it all
The wonder of it all"
