Getting a phone call hearing that you were gonna leave was the last thing I wanted to hear
I wanted to be there for you because you was always there for me
Telling me to turn the game off and wake up so I can brush my teeth

Although you aren't physically here, I want you to see that I'm going to succeed
Because that's what you want from me
Last night was the time
That I cried real tears

But I shouldn't have because death is something that you never fear
You were ready
You knew your time on this earth was over
