Tired of feeling hurt, face down in the dirt
Forsaken, overtaken, left behind to rot into the earth
Tired of wasting time, on other people's lives
When all they do is trample over you
Like they didn't even see you

Not asking for a lot, a little goes a long way
Just ask me, how the day went, show a little interest

Small gestures, cost nothing, just put your
