Silent Majority

Giving up a little for the betterment of others
I thought of as a virtue in the fight against the struggle
But it seems that doing good, for the world or humankind
Is seen as an attack on some superior state of mind

Liberty, equality, no animal abuse
Now you're being labelled as a fascist P.C. tool
I care about the others, and I care about what's right
Systemic injustice is the reason that we fight

We are living in a time, which is bulging from hormones
Where populistic lies are societal stepping stones
"Saying what you want" turned into the greatest good
Justified oppression under guise of what we should

In the midst of the fight over total superiority
I'm being deafened by the silent majority

Nourished by the misinformed, their lies are quickly spread
No one checks discrepancies when they go head to head
Confirmation in our views is the thing we yearn the most
Disparage the others and the truth if they oppose
